Lee Excellence was founded by E-Yong Lee, who graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2019 with an OP1 and an ATAR of 99+. The way BSHS sets, paces and marks senior assessment is not something we read about. It is where the centre came from.
Our Mansfield campus at 481 Broadwater Rd is the closest of our two campuses for southside families travelling back from South Brisbane. Weekday sessions run after school until 6pm, with sessions through the day on Saturday.
Students bring their own BSHS classwork: current topics, IA drafts and past papers, so tutoring tracks the assessment they will actually sit. Senior tutors are ATAR 99+ graduates who sat QCAA exams within the last few years.

Do you prepare students for the BSHS entry test?
Yes. Brisbane State High selects out-of-catchment students through the HAST test, and that sits inside our scholarship and selective exam preparation program. It covers reading comprehension, mathematical reasoning and written expression, with abstract reasoning for the secondary paper.
Do you tutor students already at BSHS?
Yes, across QCE subjects in Years 7 to 12. Sessions are built around each student's own subjects and school assessment: IA drafts, current topics, and external exam preparation. Dr Lee's senior Chemistry class also runs at the Mansfield campus.
