What NAPLAN involves
NAPLAN assesses reading, writing, conventions of language (spelling, grammar, and punctuation), and numeracy. Students sit it in March of Years 3, 5, 7, and 9, so preparation belongs early in the school year.
Cramming test tricks is the wrong preparation for a skills test. Our approach is a year-round primary Maths & English program taught by qualified, registered teachers, with structured NAPLAN practice added in Term 1 for students in Years 3, 5, and 7, without disrupting the curriculum.
Classes run weekly for 2 hours, grouped by year level, with custom booklets covering maths, English reading, and English writing. Content tracks the Australian Curriculum, so school, tutoring, and NAPLAN preparation reinforce each other.

Do you run a standalone NAPLAN course?
No, and that's deliberate. NAPLAN preparation is built into our weekly primary Maths & English classes, where Years 3, 5, and 7 get structured practice in Term 1. Year-round skill building plus targeted test familiarity beats a short cram course.
What does NAPLAN actually test?
Reading, writing, conventions of language (spelling, grammar, and punctuation), and numeracy. It's a skills test rather than a content test, which is why consistent reading, writing, and maths practice is the best preparation.
Who teaches the primary classes?
Qualified, registered primary school teachers with classroom experience. They understand how young students learn at each stage and how to build confidence alongside skill.
What year levels can join?
Primary classes cover Years 1–7, grouped by level (Y1–2, Y3–4, Y5–6, Y7). NAPLAN practice is added for Years 3, 5, and 7; other year levels follow the standard weekly curriculum.
How much do classes cost?
